Company Characteristics and Strength

Established by Hong Kong Ordinance in 1966, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council is a quasi-governmental trade promotion agency. It has 50 offices around the world and promotes two-way trade between Hong Kong and Mainland China and third countries. It has two offices in Japan, in Tokyo and Osaka. In addition to organizing about 40 international exhibitions and conferences every year, the organization is also involved in a wide range of other activities, including publishing, business matching, online sourcing and seminars on Hong Kong and China.
